Finally! After being engaged for over a year, I now have a dress! I went around Bellingham with my mom, Aunt Carla and my cousins Shelly and Katrina(who were just recently engaged to awesome guys!). We all tried on dresses at multiple stores. I am sure that three brides at once was overwhelming to the consultants, but it was certainly entertaining! After hours of searching, we were about to call it a day when someone suggested another shop. I didn't really want to go, but shrugged and went in anyway. I suppose that was a good idea as it was where I found my dress...maybe I should listen to mom more often.
It is nice that this detail is taken care of, apparently the rest of the wedding is supposed to hinge around the dress, but meh, I'm just glad that I don't have to try on another white gown again. Well...I guess I will for alterations....and for the wedding...and maybe for just for fun.
I also want to say thank you to everyone that I dragged into boutique after boutique and for your "that looks great!"s, "awww"s, and even the "well...that's...interesting"s.
As far as what the dress looks like, it's white. Any details beyond that will have to wait until March.

First post!!
Dear Reader,
This is where you'll read our heavily edited commentary on how the wedding planning is going. See, we waited until we agreed on a few things first. No sense in scaring the kids.
We've (she) picked a location. We've (she) picked a date. I picked my nose. We have a pastor, he probably picks his own nose. We even have a website. Didn't know about that? Well click here
The website will give you all the facts (and some fiction). This blog gives us a chance to vent and it should give you a chance to vent right back. Comment right away when something crosses your mind. If it is anything like my mind, it won't cross again. Need sleep now...
